Citizen Machinery Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Miyota-machi, Kitasaku-gun, Nagano-ken, President: Keiichi Nakajima) will set up a new office in New Delhi in order to strengthen the CNC automatic lathe sales in the Indian market.

The automobile industry (including motorcycles) is clustered in the northern part of India as well and is anticipated to grow further. Therefore, a new office will be set up in New Delhi. Technicians will be stationed in the office starting from June to reinforce our support for customers as well as the dealers in the northern part of India.

The demand for high value-added machinery is increasing in India to meet the needs of automation and workforce reduction. At the Citizen Machinery Technical Center (India), the office was expanded by approximately 70% last summer. We have also increased the number of Cincom L20 machines with the LFV (Low Frequency Vibration cutting) feature, which was very well received by our customers not only in Japan but around the world, aiming to roll out this technology across the Indian market. We are also arranging installation of Cincom A20 models with the LFV feature, as well as organizing private exhibitions.

The size of the Indian market is significant with a population of 1.2 billion people, and the demand for machine tools is anticipated to increase in the long term in various fields including automobiles, medicine, and construction. Bearing in mind this situation, we target the increase in sales in India by providing leading-edge technology, as well as offering enhanced support services to our local customers.
