The F25 retained the slant-type twin turret heads that it inherited from the F-12 but enlarged the machines maximum diameter to ø25. It has a rotary guide bush driven synchronously with the main spindle. The rigidity of the turret head was also improved by curvic coupling. The new model was launched with a well received new design and color scheme updating the machine's image.
