This machine is the first automatic lathe manufactured in Japan after the World War II with a simple structure which adopted the Spencer type central cam control system. Positioning of a cam can be easily set by Miyano's original 100 divisions cam serration system. Originally this machine was developed for internal use of producing the lighter spark wheel. The reputation of this machine became known widely to industries. Then shipped first machine to a customer at Aug., 1950, and after that, formed the basis of Miyano machine tools today.
